What frame of reference are you looking at the challenges you’re facing today? What glasses are you seeing your vision and solutions through? Are they rose-colored? Or tinted with a pessimistic brown haze? What has informed your choices and the way you see the world? Being aware of your frame and the potential to reframe has big implications.

I recently reframed my understanding of Essentialism by not looking at what I can eliminate, but by feeling empowered to think about what the most important thing is to spend time on everyday. And then letting tertiary priorities melt away. Could a reframe also work for this year’s ubiquitous new year’s resolutions?  I set priorities for the year, and instead of leaving them behind back on January 6th, I take a moment every week to find my resolve and reset my resolutions: a new week’s resolutions.
